This is a basic pistol course that provides the student with an overview of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, their uses, operation, safe handling, and basic marksmanship.

Students will be required to provide their own firearm (in serviceable condition) and ammunition for this course. Factory ammunition is recommended. Although any common pistol caliber (.22 LR, .380, 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, etc.) is acceptable, .22 Caliber firearms are preferred for this basic course.
Additional Required equipment:
- Ear protection (preferably amplified with ENR)
- Eye protection
- Hat
